Walked from Meryth Mawr to Candleston Castle then through the dunes to the beach. Loads of trails all through the dunes. Fab beach, extremely quiet on a Friday! Then back up to the car park on a path quite close to the river. Would highly recommend!!

Always lovely beach to visit peak times difficult to park. Go early. Prices for parking now adjusted. If only council could sort out water pollution this beach would have top marks.

Quiet, delightful, and peaceful, just what I like on a warm sunny day. Plenty of rocks and shelter. No excuse litter bins and rubbish bins.

Nice beach with sand. Difficult to get down with all the rocks and we had a cousin have a nasty fall on them. No tea or coffee van only ice cream van. Dog poo all in the sea so couldn't swim..toilets filthy..
